About me
Hello, Freeport team! My name is Patrick Hurley (he/him), and I'm a Professional Learning Specialist with Newsela. Before transitioning into the Educational Tech world, I taught 3rd-5th grade in both St. Louis and Chicago. Newsela is a resource that I used weekly in my classroom, as it provided my students with accessible content that was a fantastic reflection of who they were as individuals. I'm so excited to share some of these resources with you, and to help support you with meeting your own instructional goals.
